Stero has been officially selected for the Marrakech Short Film Festival, running from 26 September to 1 October 2025, an incredible opportunity to showcase the film.

Closer to home, the short film Inheritance (Directed by Barbara Minishi, Written by Ngwatilo Mawiyoo, Produced by Ivy Kiru) was part of a special evening in Nairobi, curated by At Curio City. The screening brought together the short  films Inheritance and Joy’s Garden, alongside conversations about Ngwatilo Mawiyoo’s poetry and artistic practice. It was an intimate, vibrant gathering that celebrated her work across cinema and literature.

These moments remind us how films continue to live beyond their premieres through festivals, special screenings, and conversations that spark fresh connections with audiences.
