Two of our documentary projects; Matabeleland and Victoria  have been officially selected to screen at the 2025 Encounters South African International Documentary Festival, one of the continent’s most respected nonfiction showcases.

Matabeleland, directed by Nyasha Kadandara and produced by Sam Soko, continues its incredible festival run. After a world premiere at CPH:DOX, the film now heads to South Africa for two in-person screenings:

• Cape Town: Saturday, 21 June, 3:30PM at Ster-Kinekor V&A
• Johannesburg: Saturday, 28 June, 5:30PM at The Zone @ Rosebank
  (Both screenings include Q&As — to be confirmed)

Victoria, the powerful short by director Sam Soko, also joins the Encounters lineup with screening details to be confirmed soon. We’re so proud to see it find its audience on the big screen.
